WHAT ARE EXTENDABLE JIBS?
Extendable Jibs allow the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations with up to 9 different lifting positions and with the added benefit of two hooks and shackles so as to ‘cradle’ your load. These are lightweight crane systems usually featured in factory production lines and similar lightweight lifting applications. Regular jib crane systems feature safe working loads up to 5000kg (5T) however more advanced custom built systems can be adapted to larger capacities.
An extensive range of test items,
kept in stock at all branches for hire or sale.

Extendable Jibs INFORMATION
Free Standing Jib Cranes offer a cost effective and efficient lifting solution when combined with any of our electric or manual chain hoists, not only ideal for lifting but also perfect for use with tool balancers. Donati Jib Crane and hoist combinations up to 5 Tonnes (and larger upon request) with fast deliveries and very competitive prices in Free Standing, Wall Mounted or Low Headroom configurations. There is a Jib Crane to suit every localized lifting requirement even when there is obstructions- we have the solution! When height is not at a premium, but maximum lift capacity is critical, the Fork Mounted Jib allows the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations with the potential of 4 different lifting centres. When a greater lift height is required or a lift over a static obstruction the High Lifting Jib is the perfect solution, with the same attributes as the carriage Mounted Jib. When height is at a premium the Low-Profile Jib allows the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations, with the potential of 5 different lifting centres. When dedicated lifts are needed on a regular basis the Carriage Mounted Jib delivers the perfect substitute to an overhead crane or static floor mounted Jib Arm, with the added benefit of a reduced lost load centre and centre of gravity over and above the Fork Mounted version. Like the Fork Mounted Jib, the extending version allows the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations with up to 9 different lifting positions and with the added benefit of two hooks and shackles so as to ‘cradle’ your load.
